Ever since I was a student in Dr. Jomana Elaridi’s class, I found her to be very inspiring. Over time, she became a great support system for me. She encouraged me all the way and eventually offered me a part-time teaching position at LAU.
Little did I know back then that this small opportunity would open doors for me, as it helped me discover my passion for teaching.
Today, four years later, in my clinical years as a medical student, I am expanding my knowledge in medical education through national and international opportunities. I am also taking courses to become the best academic physician I can be.
I’ll forever be grateful for my experience at LAU. This institution along with all the inspiring professors, opportunities and dedicated colleagues has truly changed my life for the better.
