One particular experience that had a lasting impact on me at LAU was the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Barbar Akle, associate professor of Mechanical Engineering [at the time]. His practical approach to teaching and focus on hands-on projects in robotics and mechatronics greatly enhanced my learning experience. I already had a passion for these subjects before starting university, but his expertise and teaching style further fueled my interest and passion for this field. Dr. Akle’s mentorship was invaluable to me, and I am grateful for the lasting impact he has had on my academic and professional journey.
