Three years of study at LAU were equivalent, for me, to 10 years of experience in social work, community development, and youth empowerment elsewhere.
The university provides so many opportunities for students who are passionate about serving their community. I was president of the University Student Council from 2018-2019, president of the Human Rights Club–Beirut campus for two years and a recipient of the Riyad Nassar Leadership Award in 2019.
There was always room at LAU for personal and professional development, and balancing studies with social work. I am confident that no other university offers its students as many local and international opportunities as LAU.
