Aziza Sbaity, a 2012 Business (Management) graduate of LAU, is a celebrated Lebanese athlete and track star, specializing as a sprinter. Despite facing physical and psychological obstacles, Sbaity persevered, drawing on her inner strength. Her achievements have sparked hope and inspiration in the athletic world and beyond. LAU enriched her culturally, and though she has faced and continues to face racism and gender-related challenges, these experiences only strengthened her resolve. She chose not to let racial prejudice define her journey, recognizing it as a fleeting chapter in her life. In her athletic community, everyone stands as equals.
